Hollingshead si è tirato fuori dalla Yamamoto Pro Cup in Francia perchè dice che ha bisogno di qualche settimana per presentare un pacchetto più condizionato.

Dal quel che viene fuori comunque pare non abbia passato un periodo facile dopo il disastro del MrO dell'anno scorso (come ricordava Alberto, si parlava di top 6, invece arrivò più piccolo, più piatto e fuori condizione, terminando nelle retrovie). Nel corso dell'anno aveva lasciato intendere che il BB non era più una priorità, che forse si sarebbe ritirato. Ha mollato Tuor e se preparato da solo (se non alla fine con un occhio da Jordan Peters).
Dietro tutto questo in realtà c'erano depressione e ansia che non credo abbia risolto al 100% da come ha raccontato dopo l'Arnold UK.

Strada dunque libera per Patrick Johnson verso il MrO ... a meno di sorprese...

ma giusto per capire in che momento particolare si trova. Guardate cosa scrive sotto un video nel quale Jay Cutler, Milos e Manager Matt commentano l''Arnold UK (in particolare la superiorità strutturale di Andrew Jacked rispetto agli altri sul palco).

Serious question for you three. what does a man like me have to do to win in such a show? is it even possible? looking at the footage I'm aware of structural insupremecy but size condition posing I feel I was at may current best. is this simply you don't have his shape and cant win? I know i wont ever be Mr Olympia however I feel like id like to have more understanding. Also AJ is my brother and i love him so not trying to say anything negative lol simply asking for my own know how. Always learning. especially after Milos supportive comments which surprised me.

honestly @IFBB PRO JAMES HOLLINGSHEAD I think it is not possible for you to win a show where people like AJ are competing in (unless they fuck up of course), but I'm sure you know that. It brakes my heart to write that, because I like you a lot and you are an amazing bodybuilder, and I do agree that was your best package and you looked awesome. In terms of structure/shoulder with, muscle bellies/insertions, there is just nothing you can do against a guy like AJ. This dude is born for bodybuilding, just like a flex wheeler of big ramy. You obviously have great genetics, better than 99% of the population, but these guys have better genetics than 99,9999% of the population - one in a million, whereas you are "just" one in a thousand (ball park numbers of course, you get what I wanna say).. Nevertheless, with hard work and intelligence, you became one of the best bodybuilders in the world (you belong on the olympia stage man, I hope you make it and fight for the top 10) and are capable of winning a lot of smaller shows, where the top 6 guys are not competing, and you should be
damn proud of that!

@yt-bur this is exactly why I probably won't compete much. It makes sense but it is pointless to put a body through it if you will not be able to win based on structure. Its a hard pill to swallow and I do wish bodybuilding was different. However it isn't so... what I do from here is anyone's guess tbh. I have found new peace in a life without comparison. I'll continue to do what I do for me. I look at my self at this show and feel like a winner. I think I believed that I could over shadow genetics alone but I feel this particular show proved me wrong on that front. I won't be in France but I may do something later as I still believe i am an olympian and wish to represent the less gifted people out there. I'm not someone who likes to quit. However I am also aware if the damage I do to my body pursuing this. Lots to consider. Thank you for your very honest reply x

Dimostra enorme intelligenza, se consapevole dei suoi limiti decide di ritirarsi perché ritiene che gli sforzi non portano a risultati soddisfacenti c'è solo da fare complimenti. Si eviterebbero tante disgrazie se tutti fossero così intelligenti
