I polacchi sono semplicemente un paese cristiano, cattolico e praticante: è assolutamente normale (non GIUSTO, normale) che vogliano limitare le libertà degli omosessuali.

Infatti in Polonia la maggior parte dei cittadini è favorevole alle unioni civili omosessuali ma contraria al matrimonio gay. Il tema su cui poi c'è fortissima unità è il no alle adozioni gay.

Credo sia proprio una questione di cultura cristiana e di salvaguardia della famiglia tradizionale. Riassumendo l'opinione diffusa, i polacchi sono favorevoli al fatto che due omosessuali possano avere tutti i diritti civili relativi all'essere una coppia (accesso alle informazioni mediche, eredità, pensione di reversibilità, comunione dei beni eccetera), e sfavorevoli a considerare la coppia omosessuale come equivalente alla coppia eterosessuale nel formare il nucleo di una famiglia.

Attacco in Francia, spari contro un prete ortodosso a Lione: in fuga l'aggressore.

Il sacerdote è stato ferito vicino a una chiesa greco ortodossa e non conoscerebbe il suo aggressore.

Un prete ortodosso è stato ferito a colpi di arma da fuoco nel centro di Lione, nel settimo arrondissement, vicino a una Chiesa greco ortodossa. Dopo l’attacco, l’aggressore si è dato alla fuga. La polizia ha messo immediatemente in sicurezza e transennato tutta l’area. Sul posto sono intervenuti mezzi di soccorso, veicoli dei pompieri e un’ambulanza che ha portato via il sacerdote colpito con un’arma da fuoco all’addome. Sembra che la vittima non sia in periolo di vita nonostante i due colpi di pistola: al momento è in ospedale in prognosi riservata ma cosciente. Ai sanitari che l’hanno soccorso avrebbe detto di non conoscere il suo aggressore. Alcune persone di passaggio hanno riferito di aver udito due colpi di pistola. Ora è caccia all’uomo: la polizia sta cercando l’attentatoreo per neutralizzarlo. Non si esclude la matrice terroristica. L’agguato al sacerdote arriva pochi giorni dopo l’attentato di Nizza, durante il quale un uomo ha ucciso tre persone nella cattedrale di Notre-Dame.

However, even hate speech is still free speech that should be protected. Others also have the right (and responsibility) to exercise their free speech to condemn what they deem to be hate speech (and definitively no one should be murdered for their speech).
Macron, as the president of ALL French people, is not being asked to suppress free speech, but just to condemn the hate speech, as he has repeatedly and rightfully done when it targeted French Jews and other minorities. When it comes to French Muslims, he has done the opposite. His irresponsible rhetoric is clearly deliberate and intended to advance his political career (and outdo Le Pen), unfortunately not only at the expense of French Muslims, but also at the expense of France's image and relations with 2 billion Muslims around the world. I hope other political colleagues of his give him some good advice before the rift gets even bigger. No one wants or benefits from more conflicts, except the extremists on all sides.

Adding a few comments after reading so many confused or angry replies:

- Are we really going to let self-serving politicians or terrorists define our world's narrative and future?

- This is one world we all share. We must find a way to address our diversity and even our differences, a way that does not involve hate, murder, demonization, dehumanization,... We should embrace our diversity and differences. I would be bored if I had to live in a place where everyone looks like me and thinks like me.

- I am an American. We value our free speech, it is sacred for us. However, we also understand that it is an equal right for others to reject and condemn someone else's speech. And it is morally important to condemn speech that intends to demonize others. Murder is never an acceptable answer.

- As an American, I am also puzzled by French laws (and in other European countries) which criminalize hate speech against one religious community, but allows it against another. That's hypocrisy. Free speech cannot be politicized and cannot be selective. The answer to the abuse of free speech should be more free speech.

- Finally, this concept of if you don't agree with my way then leave the country, is a bit childish and a lot fascist. So a French convert to Islam ceases being French once they become Muslim? Or a French whose grandparents were born in France is less French if they happen to be Muslim? Every citizen must have the right to agree or disagree with the laws of their respective country and must have the rights to organize against them through free speech and political engagement.

Definire queste vignette 'hate speech' mi pare un'estrapolazione. Sono vignette estremamente idiote, ma anche l'idiozia va protetta in un paese civile.

a me però sembra molto positivo il fatto che dica "hate speech is free speech and must be protected as such". È una posizione molto più liberale del 99% della popolazione

E' dire che sono state condannate le vignette sugli altri e non quelle sui musulmani che non e' vero.
